Convenient , inexpensive and the staff was friendly.
We did have an issue with our room but it was promptly resolved and we had a new room within minutes.
It is very friendly and feels safe for a single woman. I also LOVE how close it is to the beach.
I did not like not having anyone in the office through the night, especially after hours. My sister tried the number that was given to me trying to reach me and no one answered the number, even though the extension had been changed to 169. I also called the wake-up system and it did not work. I think it is mandatory that someone be on the premises when you have people staying there in case family members need to contact their family member. There was no cell phone reception in the room. I think this is a critical issue. I have stayed here twice before, but now my sister has recently lost her husband and her 39 year old daughter that lives with her is ofter suicidal, so I need to be reachable, but anyone with family health issues should be reachable. Even if the rooms each had numbers, rather than have a person on the premises, but something needs to be changed. This, as I said, is a critical issue that needs to change.
the price was right for us
the bathroom fans didn't work in any of the rooms.
modest,good value for money,freindly staff
rooms were of a decent size, swimming pool was also a good size, easy to find the place and most importantly within walking distance of the beach !!
breakfast is disappointing, nothing to chose from and totally lacks atmosphere the room
Location is excellent - exactly where I needed to be. Internet was good. Parking was easy. The sheets were fresh.
The lower units are so musty that I could not stay in them. I had booked an efficiency, as I wished to have access to basic kitchen facilities. But it's built on a concrete slab, is many decades old, and is simply too musty-smelling for me. I opted for a room upstairs, which smelled better but which lacked kitchenette facilities. The truth is the place will probably get torn down before long... But when that happens, whatever replaces it will be 2 to 3 times more costly. So it's a compromise. If I had to do it again I probably would, based solely on the location - nearby a dear old friend of the family who is no longer mobile.
The convenient location and the affordability. There was not a 2 night minimum stay as required by most hotels in the are.
Was dissapointed with the breakfast room and the selection of food.
the location mostly
the breakfast menu (options) and location of site
Not bad for the price - we really only wanted a place to sleep for the night. Great location, very close to Centerville Beach & Hyannis. Staff was friendly & efficient. Check-in & out was smooth & quick. There was a small cooking unit in the room which was a nice benefit. We didn't use it - but it could come in handy if someone was staying for a few days. They are pet friendly - which is a plus. Room was generally clean.
Very noisy a/c unit in room - it did quiet down after a few hours. They have a 11:00 quiet time listed on their rules, but apparently don't enforce it - as there was a group of very young people out @ 2:00 AM - and they were fairly loud. Only had 2 large towels in room - 3 or 4 would have been nice.
This is a typical non-chain motel you may find on the Cape. The rooms were clean but not luxurious. The motel was very pet friendly (even has a small dog run in the rear of the property) which was a plus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had no problem getting anything we needed. Continental breakfast is very basic. Location is great - across from four seas and deli. General store a block away. Beach in walking distance.
Beds and pillows need to be replaced.
Room #55 had a distinct odor of cat urine
The place is pet friendly. However, I don't have pets.
It has musty odder from the bed, carpet, pillows, etc. The place seem it hasn't changed the decor since 1970's. Since it's a pet friendly Inn, you can image people with allergies having a hard time being at this place. I'm that person. My daughter found a spider in the sheets. I couldn't sleep. The continental breakfast was a joke. The swimming pool really looked less then desirable. In fact, I felt the same about Centerville Corners Inn.
I like the location mostly. Right across from Four Seas Ice Cream (which also serves inexpensive sandwiches), and the quick walk to the beach. The library is also a block away. Beyond the immediate area, Hyannis is not far at all. There is also a major supermarket just a couple of miles down the road, if you want to stock your mini-fridge. The Inn does serve a free breakfast, and they also have a pool and a nice little yard area with lounge chairs and a swingset.
The housekeepers seem unpleasant if you ask them to come back later--- twice this happened to me, and both times they gave me a strange look instead of a smile (and it was two different women)
